SteamHead at the 4th Nanshan School Maker Faire

On November 17th, 2018, we organized and collaborated with the Shenzhen education community to bring the Nanshan School Maker Faire to its new home at the beautiful Design Society building. This allowed the event to bring in over 32 schools and organizations and accommodate more than a hundred interactive, student-led exhibits.

The event really brought the Shekou education community together and allowed everyone to share their projects and experiences teaching maker education.

We’re so happy to see parents, teachers, and students alike embracing hands-on, project-based learning, and sharing not just shiny, polished products, but also projects that were meaningful learning experiences for the students regardless of outcome. We hope you’ll enjoy and share this video featuring some of the great exhibits and interviews with the SteamHead team, Design Society, and Makefashion Edu.

We have lots more great video from the event, so stay tuned for updates.
